Troubleshooting
Check the most common setup issues when comparison content does not appear.
The theme blocks are missing
- Confirm the CompareWise app is installed on the store.
- Confirm you are editing a compatible Shopify theme template.
- Enable the CompareWise app embed before testing storefront widgets.
Product values do not appear
- Confirm the product has values saved in the CompareWise admin.
- Confirm the product is assigned to the intended spec table setup.
- Refresh the storefront page after saving admin changes.
Comparison does not open
- Add at least two products before opening the comparison view.
- Check that the Compare Button block is present on each product page.
- Test in a normal browser window if a theme preview has stale assets.
